Meet Bailey

  • Bailey is a rare native Austinite who ventured to Oklahoma State University to compete in track and field. While there, she graduated with honors and obtained a degree in Nutritional Physiology.

Upon graduation, Bailey returned home to complete her Bachelor’s in Nursing at the University of Texas Health and Science Center. She took her first nursing job in the emergency department at the same hospital in which she was born!

Wanderlust struck again and Bailey set off to rural Kotzebue, Alaska. While there, she met her husband and the two of them went on to travel for the next three years while she completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing.

Bailey eventually found her way back to Austin just in time to welcome her first child in December 2022. Bailey’s daughter, Gray Juniper, was born at home in the water with the support of her husband, Matthew, and her midwife.

  • Bailey brings over seven years of combined experience in sports medicine, aesthetics, emergency medicine and concierge functional medicine.

With her background in nutritional sciences, she does her best to focus on a root cause approach and functional, or holistic, medicine interventions. While she recognizes there is a time and a place for modern medicine, she believes our bodies are capable of healing if given the proper support- physically and spiritually; whatever that may look like for you.

In her free time Bailey likes to spend time with family trying new recipes, playing in the garden or diving head first into a new craft- currently ceramics.

  • Fun Facts:

Bailey and her brother won the 2017 Austin Fit Competition and were featured on the cover of the magazine.

She worked in the Emergency Department in New York, New Jersey and California through COVID- here is when she realized just how broken the healthcare system is.

Her brother, dad and mom were also collegiate athletes so movement has always been on the forefront of her approach to health- both mental and physical.
